TUTUNJIAN TAPS FRIEND FOR DEPUTY MAYOR'S POST.(CAPITAL REGION)

Mayor-elect Harry Tutunjian chose a close friend and political ally to join him in City Hall.

He has appointed Daniel Crawley to a $75,000-a-year job as deputy mayor. A day earlier, Republican Tutunjian named former county Republican chairman James Walsh to a $30,000-a-year job with the same title.

Outgoing Mayor Mark Pattison has had only one deputy, but Tutunjian said two appointees will enable him to better serve residents and the business community.
