NSW Casino Authority head quits
SYDNEY, April 26 AAP - The head of the New South Wales Casino Control Authority Kaye
Loder has resigned, Premier Bob Carr announced today.
"I sought her resignation this morning because I felt her comments on Four Corners
were unacceptable," Mr Carr told reporters in Sydney.
The move was designed to restore confidence in the CCA, Mr Carr said.
Ms Loder told the ABC program she was sorry police had banned one of Sydney's biggest
heroin traffickers from Sydney Harbour Casino in 1997.
